Bobcats, we've had a few replies and questions about going to New Orleans. I, FINALLY, got my leave approved so I could take off the last days of school. I know, you're thinking, POOR KIDS! Well, you should be saying, "POOR TEACHER" who has to go through those last few days with those fifth graders. That middle school attitude has set in! My sub is a retired Marine though, so that says it all...I think he'll handle it well.

I used to keep a sign on my refrigerator when my son was going through middle school and high school years. It said..."Get out while you still know everything!" It's a different story now though. He's a good one!

So, let's hear from you who are in a rut and need a little R & R in May. Sure would like to see most of you since you all didn't make it to New Orleans a couple years ago. We truly had a ball in New Orleans...ask J Mercer! Ask him about his loafers?!? Ask Robbie, Doug, and Cherie about those benets at Cafe Du Monde - Original French Market Coffee Stand New Orleans.
